A dozen local businesses, twelve days, one shared giveaway. It's our way of saying thank you to the community that's helped us grow (both the businesses and customers). This Christmas season, The Rug Room is pulling together local small businesses and workshops to lift each other up: one spotlight a day, everybody resharing everybody, building toward a grand prize of a Year of Experiences, and 2 total winners revealed on Day 13. The giveaway kicks off with our announcement on November 30.
We're just the organizer: this is meant to be all of us, together, sharing what we love with all of Utah.
How It Works
No one business builds this alone. Everybody brings something and everybody shares in the reach. You bring the goods, we bring the audience, and the community that shops with us walks away with something good before Christmas.

The grand prize starts with A Year of Experiences: 12 experiences, one from each Daily Feature Partner (Rug Room included). Enough for one a month, but the winner can redeem them whenever they like. The rest of the grand prize is filled with giveaway items, and the winners are revealed on Day 13 (Dec 13).

FAQ
What do I need to bring as a Daily Feature Partner?
Three things: a discount or deal for our audience on your spotlight day, one experience for the Year of Experiences grand prize, and a reshare of every partner's post, every day, Dec 1–12.
What counts as an experience?
Anything a winner would love to do: dinner for two, a class, a session, an outing, whatever fits your business. The 12 experiences are meant to spread out over the year, but the winner can redeem them whenever they like.
Who makes the giveaway post?
We do. The Rug Room creates the main giveaway post, the images and the reel, and we announce the giveaway on November 30. You just make your own post for your featured day.
How do I get everyone else's posts to reshare?
Everything lives in one shared folder. Once your spot is confirmed, we'll send you the link. Drop your post in before your day, and grab each partner's post from the folder on their day.
Do I need to be on TikTok?
Instagram is the must. If your business is on TikTok too, post and reshare there as well. It doubles the reach.
How do people enter, and when are winners picked?
We announce the giveaway on November 30, and entry details live on that main giveaway post. Winners are revealed on Day 13 (Dec 13): one grand prize winner and one winner for each prize tier.
How do winners redeem my discount or experience?
You set the redemption terms and any blackout dates when you sign up, and we share them with the winner so they know exactly how to book with you.
What if the day I want is taken?
Days are first come, first served, so pick any open day in the lineup above. Every day gets the same spotlight and the same reshares.
Can I donate a prize without taking a day?
Yes. Prize Pool Contributors donate an item for the grand prize or a prize tier, with no spotlight day, discount or reshare commitment. Email us to join that way.
How do I know I'm confirmed?
After you submit, we'll email you to confirm your day and send the shared folder link. You'll also see your business show up in the lineup above.
